Mike Lawler Breaks Promises, Votes to Restrict Abortion Access for Servicemembers and Military Families 

NEW YORK, NY – Today, Mike Lawler (NY-17) broke his promise to the voters that elected him to serve in Congress and voted to restrict access to reproductive healthcare for servicemembers and military families. On the campaign trail, Lawler said he wouldn’t back anti-abortion legislation.  

“MAGA Mike Lawler can try to edit his own biography, but he can’t erase his anti-choice betrayal of America’s servicemembers and military families,” said Jay S. Jacobs, Chair of the New York State Democratic Party.
