STATEMENT FROM NYS DEMOCRATIC CHAIRMAN JAY S. JACOBS ON NY GOP CHAIRMAN’S UKRAINE COMMENTS AT CONVENTION
NASSAU COUNTY, NY: Following GOP Chair Nick Langworthy’s Convention remarks where he stated “We need to start acting like the Ukrainians, like the everyday citizens who are risking their lives for freedoms,” New York State Democratic Party Chairman Jay S. Jacobs released the following statement:
“If Chairman Langworthy is so interested in ‘acting like the Ukrainians’ to protect our freedoms, perhaps he should start by condemning the January 6th insurrection and all those who promoted it.”
