The White Plains Democratic City Committee will hold its 2023 Liz Shollenberger Annual Dinner, our main fundraiser of the year, on Wednesday, May 3, at Westchester Hills Country Club, from 6 to 9 p.m.
The Ted Benjamin Award for community service has been renamed in memory of Paul Schwarz, our longtime Committee Treasurer, Chair of Meals on Wheels of White Plains, Chair of the White Plains Library Board – and so much more.
At the Dinner, we will be honoring Evelyn Alicea-Santiago as recipient of the Marilyn Stagg Award for service to the White Plains Democratic Party, and Hon. Nadine Hunt-Robinson, White Plains Common Council Member, as recipient of the Paul Schwarz Award for community service.
Our Special Honoree that evening will be Hon. George Latimer, our extraordinary Westchester County Executive.
Now is the time for you to step forward! We want to create a broad-based list of supporters whose names will be printed on the formal invitation to the Dinner, which will go out in about a month. We hope that you will take this opportunity to be included on the invitation as a Patron, a Sponsor, or a Friend, by making your reservation early.
To be listed on the formal invitation, please email one of us (see below) right away with your category, and your name as you wish it to appear on the invitation, no later than Wednesday, March 15th to meet the printing deadline. Please send your payment promptly.
Make checks payable to the White Plains Democratic City Committee: $250 for Patrons, $200 for Sponsors, and $150 for Friends ($100 for City Committee members). Mail checks to: Victoria Presser, 112 Alexander Avenue, White Plains, NY 10606.
We look forward to hearing from you and to seeing you at the dinner.
Sincerely,
