Dear District Leaders and Democratic Activists,
We are devastated to announce the passing of Yorktown District Leader Jacqueline Baker. Jacqueline (Jackie) was also the Founder of Westchester Sickle Cell Outreach, Inc.
Jackie was the vice chair of the Westchester Black Women’s Political Caucus’ Peekskill Chapter and she lead tremendous advocacy efforts with Westchester/Putnam Central Labor Body AFL-CIO, and NYSUT. She was a powerhouse helping others to succeed.
She was only 62.
A wake in the memory of Jacqueline will be held on Monday, June 20th. It will take place at Whalen & Ball Funeral Home, 168 Park Avenue, Yonkers. The wake will be from 2:00 PM – 6:00 PM and the funeral service will be held on Tuesday, June 21st from 10:00AM – 12:00 PM. The service will be live streamed from the Whalen & Ball website.
