Mike had a long history of political and civic involvement in New York City and in Rye Brook before he and his wife, Karen, moved to White Plains, where he served as a Democratic District Leader and as a member of the Conservation Board. Michael was very active in the Democratic Party, campaigning for Hillary Clinton and George Latimer and many other local elected officials. He also served as President of Community Synagogue in Rye, and was an avid runner.
